The key to receiving the quoted value of your devices is to accurately describe them during the checkout process.
BuyBackWorld makes it simple to choose the right condition because we have broken everything down into four easy choices:
NEW = New means NEW. This is the same as if you bought the device directly from the store. The package is SEALED, Never Opened, and the warranty on the device has never been activated.
Please Note: Anything else besides a NEW SEALED package will only be able to receive Excellent condition. Even if you never used the item, but the item is NOT SEALED, we cannot consider it New.
EXCELLENT = 100% Functional with no issues. Very light signs of scratches/use (if any) and NO LCD ISSUES
AVERAGE = 100% Functional with no issues. Normal signs of scratches/use. Can be a very minor LCD issue such as a small tint only visible against a white background. If there are any LCD issues visible against a colored background, we would consider your device to be in POOR condition.
For a full explanation of LCD issues possible on your device, please feel free to review our LCD Issues Explained.
POOR = Non-Functional or Defective. Could have one or more issues such as cracked screen, button issues, etc. Device must power on. If it does NOT, it might be subject to BROKEN pricing (certain products as a question regarding powering on)
BROKEN = On some items when you select Poor, we might ask you if the device powers on. If the device DOES NOT power on, it is broken and you might receive a quote which is lower than the POOR value.
If you are caught in-between selecting the correct condition of your item, please email service@buybackworld.com and we will do our best to help you determine the correct condition to avoid a Revised Offer upon receipt.
