Why did I receive an email saying my item is worth less?

We’re sorry to hear you were sent a lower revised offer for your device and understand it can be disappointing to not receive the full Instant Quote value which you checked out your device for. Your offer could have been lowered for a variety of reasons, but the top reasons are:

• Wrong Model – Please take your time when selecting your device to make sure you are selecting the correct model
• Bad ESN – your device isn’t clear for activation by a new user. Not sure what an ESN is? Please check our What is an ESN? Page
• Condition Difference Downgrade from New – Please understand that the Instant Quote for the “NEW” condition is only meant to be used for products which are truly that – Brand New in a SEALED Box which has never been opened, used or tampered with. We only receive about 5% of devices which are in this condition so even if you never used the device, but you opened the box to look at it, we would still consider this to be in “Excellent” condition
