If you received an email stating that your funds were sent via Venmo and then received another email afterwards indicating that your funds cannot be delivered, please refer to that email.
Chances are the Venmo Account ID (telephone number) you entered during checkout is incorrect or you have not created a Venmo account yet so your funds are unclaimed.
A payment may be Unclaimed for one of the following reasons:
- You not sign up with Venmo using the same telephone number that you used to request the money. You simply need to add this telephone number to your Venmo account and confirm the new telephone number. The money will then immediately appear in your balance.
- You may not have confirmed your telephone number. Any payments sent to an account will not appear in the account balance until you have completed the registration process by confirming your telephone number. You must do this directly through Venmo's site. If you have any issues, please contact Venmo support directly since we cannot help you once the funds are sent by us.
- You must manually accept or deny this payment.
